The Minnesota Governor signed a law amending multiple sections of Minnesota Statutes through a omnibus bill addressing financial services regulation, healthcare oversight, fuel quality standards, gaming provisions, and tax matters. The law includes creating a tax credit against certain premiums taxes imposed, equal to the amount of the assessment paid by the taxpayer under §62E.23 in the immediately preceding calendar year. The tax credit applies to taxable years after Dec. 31, 2028. [H.F. 4188, enacted 05/27/26]
