The UK should rule out an exit tax on wealthy Britons leaving the country as it would be unattractive for entrepreneurs, a group representing technology startups said Monday.
The UK government’s growth and public finance ambitions will only be achieved by making the country “the best place to scale the next generation of global companies,” rather than by punishing those who choose to leave, the Startup Coalition said in an open letter to Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves.
