Shell’s Head of Europe Power Trading Tanna to Leave the Firm (1)

Shell Plc’s head of European power trading Rupen Tanna is leaving the company and will be replaced by Mitch Gorman, currently general manager of gas at the Shell Energy unit.

Tanna joined Shell in 2019 after eight years of co-heading global commodities at then Bank of America Merril Lynch. He helped build Shell’s power trading operations in Europe through various deals and partnerships, according to an internal memo sent to staff and seen by Bloomberg News.

A representative for Shell declined to comment. Tanna didn’t reply to a request for comment via LinkedIn.
