A former Sharecare Inc. sales manager has sued the health and wellness company, claiming he was fired for requesting leave to care for his cancer-stricken wife and shortly before closing on a deal that would have netted him at least $75,000 in commission.
Patrick Jeter filed his lawsuit Wednesday at the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia at Atlanta. He claims the company violated Georgia law, the federal Family Medical Leave Act, retaliated against him and committed a breach of contract.
