Nearly a year after Manhattan Country School went bankrupt and closed, its former campus has found a potential buyer in an up-and-coming school that offers what it refers to as a Classical Christian education.
Geneva School of Manhattan, located just a few blocks away on the Upper West Side, has agreed to pay $20 million for the campus, according to bankruptcy filings. The offer is in the form of a stalking horse bid, meaning it’s subject to higher bids at a bankruptcy auction.
