A class of NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers appealed to the Ninth Circuit on Friday a Los Angeles federal judge’s ruling that tossed their win of a $4.7 billion jury verdict in a fight over the pricing of the game-broadcast package.
Judge Philip S. Gutierrez of the US District Court for the Central District of California on Aug. 20 finalized an Aug. 1 order that tossed the jury award against the NFL, which could have tripled to about $14 billion under federal antitrust law.
