Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits LLC and the Federal Trade Commission reached a tentative settlement of the regulator’s lawsuit alleging the distributor illegally sold alcohol products to small businesses at prices far higher than to large national and regional chains.
The wine and spirits distributor and the FTC asked to pause the price discrimination lawsuit for 45 days so they can work to resolve claims first brought by the regulator in December 2024, according to a stipulation filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
