Zillow Reclaims Listing Data After Chicago Group Cuts Access

Zillow Group Inc. temporarily won back its longstanding access to data for thousands of residential real estate listings in the Chicago area after a federal judge ordered a local group to stop withholding the information.

Midwest Real Estate Data LLC, an organization that manages residential real estate listings in the Chicago area, shall “immediately restore” Zillow’s access to MRED’s residential real estate listing data feeds, Judge John J. Tharp Jr. of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois held in an order late last week.
