Citadel Securities LLC started making markets for two baskets of corporate bonds issued by Microsoft Corp., Amazon.com Inc., Alphabet Inc. and Meta Platforms Inc. on Wednesday, as investors look for more liquid ways to speculate on massive investments in artificial intelligence.
The baskets, one comprising bonds maturing in 10 years and another for 30-year debt, enable investment-grade bond investors, cross asset clients and hedge funds looking to express macro views to quickly add or reduce their exposure to the tech behemoths, according to Sam Berberian, global head of credit trading at the firm.
