Musk Snubs French in Case Over Grok Sexual Images, AFP Says

Elon Musk snubbed a summons by French prosecutors investigating how AI chatbot Grok was allowed to spew out sexually explicit deepfakes and Holocaust-denying content, according to Agence France-Presse.

Paris officials told AFP in an email that they had “taken note” of the absence of the people they had called to testify as part of their investigation on Monday. Musk’s social media platform X and Paris prosecutors didn’t respond to multiple requests for comment.

The world’s richest man has struck a defiant stance ever since Paris prosecutors requested access in July 2025 to X’s recommendation engine and data on user posts. ...
