Mythos Isn’t a ‘Doomsday Device,’ White House Adviser Sacks Says

White House AI and crypto adviser David Sacks says Anthropic’s Mythos is not “magic” nor is it “a doomsday device,” according to a post on X.

• Sacks adds that “these models do not create vulnerabilities; they discover them”
• “Obviously it’s important that cyber defenders get access before cyber attackers. That process is already underway but needs to happen quickly,” he says
• Sacks says Chinese AI models will have similar capabilities within six months
