Nvidia Corp. tapped Google Cloud executive Alison Wagonfeld as chief marketing officer, a sign the Silicon Valley chipmaker is looking to further raise its profile.
Wagonfeld announced the move on LinkedIn, saying she would be joining the leadership team of Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang after leaving Alphabet Inc.’s Google in late January. The executive described the job as “a new role heading up marketing and communications as Nvidia embarks on its next phase of growth.”
Nvidia, based in Santa Clara, California, declined to comment.
