Singapore to Add AI Visa Track for Top Tech Talent, CNA Reports

Singapore will introduce a dedicated recruitment track to attract top-tier global artificial intelligence talent, offering experts a five-year work visa, Channel News Asia reported Tuesday citing Manpower Minister Tan See Leng.

The program, part of the Overseas Networks and Expertise (ONE) Pass, will replace the existing Tech Pass and offer more flexible terms, CNA reported.

The ministry will maintain the S$30,000 ($23,471) monthly income requirement, but will allow applicants to meet the income threshold by combining a minimum fixed monthly salary of S$22,500 ($17,610) with vested non-cash compensation, such as employee stock options or share ownership plans, Tan was ...
