Telegram Co-Founder Durov Starts New AI Tech Network Cocoon (1)

Billionaire Telegram co-founder Pavel Durov said he will start a new network to combine blockchain, artificial intelligence and social media.

The Confidential Compute Open Network, or Cocoon, will work with AI and the TON blockchain, Durov said Wednesday at the Blockchain Life 2025 forum in Dubai. The project is due to start next month, he said.

“We realised the world needs a decentralized approach to AI. A world where AI belongs not to corporations or governments, but to the people,” Durov said during the forum. “So we decided to build a decentralized network for AI features.”
