The Department of Commerce says it will be open to proposals from industry consortia for “full-stack AI export packages” beginning on April 1 for 90 days.
- Packages may include “AI optimized computer hardware, data center storage, models, cybersecurity measures, and applications for various sectors,” it says in a statement
- Approved consortia may receive government support, including prioritized access to federal credit programs and priority for export control license reviews, it says
