The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. rolled back a Biden-era rule mandating uniform displays of the agency’s logo on bank websites and other digital tools.
A final rule adopted Thursday will give banks more flexibility in how they present the agency’s logo. Lenders will only have to display the logo on “screens and pages where signage would be most relevant to consumers,” the agency said, such as pages where customers log in or open accounts.
