Ankur Jain brushes dust off his street clothes as he traverses the construction site in New York’s trendy Meatpacking District that will soon become the new headquarters of Bilt Technologies Inc. As workers hammer and clank on neighboring floors, Jain tells me—loudly, and more than once—that Bilt never intended to get into credit cards, by far the company’s best-known product today.
