Warren Presses Fed Chair Nominee Warsh on Epstein Ties

Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren called on Kevin Warsh, Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the Federal Reserve, to explain references to him in Justice Department files on disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Warren focused on two email exchanges suggesting Warsh may have been invited to events Epstein appears to have been involved in organizing. One event was on the Caribbean island St. Barthélemy in December 2010 and the other in New York in September 2010, according news reports on the emails Warren cited in her letter.
