The judge overseeing the 23andMe bankruptcy proceeding granted final approval of a $3.25 million settlement with more than 300,000 former Canadian customers in a class action seeking damages related to a data breach.
Judge Brian C. Walsh of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri signed off on the deal during a Tuesday hearing. He had preliminarily green-lighted the settlement last year, along with others involving US clients.
