Ambipar Said to Tap BR Partners as Adviser for Debt Talks

Troubled Brazilian waste-management company Ambipar Participações e Empreendimentos SA has tapped advisory boutique BR Partners to work on a debt restructuring, according to people familiar with the matter.

The company had been in advanced talks with advisory boutique Seneca Evercore, Bloomberg News reported earlier, but ultimately decided to go in a different direction. A group of holders of Ambipar’s bonds is also preparing for talks, one person said last week.
