‘Anti-Woke’ Banking Startup Founder Approved to Sue Investors

The Texas founder of bankrupt “anti-woke” financial services startup GloriFi won the right to sue a slew of investors that include Vivek Ramaswamy, Peter Thiel, and the founder of TD Ameritrade, a bankruptcy court ruled.

Disparagement claims brought in Delaware and Georgia federal courts don’t belong to the bankruptcy estate of With Purpose Inc., the legal name of GloriFi, and can be brought instead by oil and gas investor Toby Neugebauer, according to an opinion issued Tuesday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
