Argentina’s Merval Index Rallies as Bessent Signals US Support

Argentina’s Merval index rose as much as 8.1% in Buenos Aires on Monday after US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent pledged to provide “all options for stabilization” in the country as President Javier Milei heads to midterm elections on Oct. 26.
