A Puerto Rico bankruptcy court mistakenly declined jurisdiction over a couple’s legal feud with mortgage lender Banco Popular after the pair’s restructuring proceedings ended, an appeals court ruled.
Although they successfully completed a joint Chapter 13 bankruptcy case in 2021, Juan J.
