The team of Bolivian President-elect Rodrigo Paz traveled to the US on Tuesday for meetings with multilateral lenders and Trump administration officials, with Paz expected to join them later in the day, according to images broadcast on the UNITEL network.
- José Luis Lupo, a member of the delegation, said Bolivia needs to attract dollars through loans, financing, technical assistance, donations and investment
- Lupo also said the talks will focus on fuel supply, diplomacy and cooperation
- NOTE: Lupo and José Gabriel Espinoza, another delegation member, both worked on the presidential campaign of businessman and politician Samuel Doria Medina
