Biologics developer Alachua Government Services Inc. sued the Department of Defense to force the government to swiftly remove heavy equipment from a Florida manufacturing facility before a pending bankruptcy sale falls apart.
The Alachua facility, designed to develop drugs and vaccines under contracts with the US government, must be cleared of government property before Oct. 17 in order for AGS to close on a $3.5 million stalking horse asset sale, the company said in a lawsuit filed Tuesday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
