Affiliates of CVC Capital Partners Plc and Partners Group Holding AG raised 2.15 billion zloty ($590 million) from selling shares in Polish convenience store Zabka Group SA, a year after taking the company public.
The private equity groups sold around 100 million shares in an overnight sale via local broker Ipopema Securities SA at 21.5 zloty apiece, representing about 10% of the shares outstanding, according to a statement. The sale price is the same as its initial public offering price, and represents a discount of 3.2% to the stock’s closing price Wednesday.
