The Catholic institution faced litigation in New Mexico courts brought by 18 alleged victims, according to court records filed Friday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas.
The diocese estimated its total assets to be between $10 million and $50 million, and liabilities between $1 million and $10 million.
