Morgan Stanley Hires Distressed Debt Analyst Ahmed in London

Morgan Stanley has hired Rishad Ahmed as a senior distressed sovereign and corporate analyst focusing on the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

  • Ahmed, a desk analyst, started this month, according to bank spokesman Azar Boehm
  • Previously, Ahmed worked at Emso, an alternative asset manager focused on fixed income in emerging markets, and before then, at GoldenTree
  • He reports to Reiss Lea, head of European flow credit trading
  • Separately, Marty Higgins, who formerly worked in private debt sales at BNP Paribas, is set to join Morgan Stanley
    • Higgins starts in July as an executive director ...
