The government’s top watchdog has denied a protest over a contract award to AeroVironment Inc. for Switchblade dive-bombing drones, the company announced Monday in a US Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
Aerovironment, based in Arlington, Va., won a $990 million contract on Aug. 27. Mistral Inc. filed a protest with the Government Accountability Office challenging the contract award. The GAO had 100 days to deliberate and issued a decision Dec. 13.
