Congress should promote artificial intelligence by empowering the federal government to adopt it, setting guardrails to protect Americans and maintain national security, House lawmakers recommended in a sweeping new report.
The bipartisan framework released Tuesday details more than 150 findings and recommendations for Congress to respond to the global AI boom that’s prompted governments to set regulations. The report comes as Republicans prepare to take full control of Congress and the White House in January.
