A year after ChatGPT’s debut, companies are preparing their artificial intelligence systems for new regulations and standards as President Joe Biden’s sweeping executive order takes shape.
Biden in late October demanded federal standards for safe and secure AI development, setting the regulatory tone in the US. Congress, meanwhile, is trying to approve rules that promote technological innovation while keeping Americans safe.
