Alaska’s Peltola Is on Her Own With No Sarah Palin on Ballot

Alaska’s only House member is learning what it’s like to run on her own record instead of against Sarah Palin.

Rep. Mary Peltola — a Democrat representing a Republican-leaning at-large district — is seeking re-election on a platform of “fish, family, and freedom.” Unlike 2022, when she won a special election and then a full term, the state’s former governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee isn’t on the ballot.
