MAGA-aligned Republicans hoping to climb the political ranks are headed to CPAC this week in search of support from President Donald Trump’s base, even as some of their colleagues question the value of the long-running conservative event.

Several names linked to runs for higher office — Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R), and others — have secured speaking spots at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, slated to culminate Saturday with an address from Trump.
