Amtrak has set a target to attract 32.8 million riders to the rail network during fiscal 2024 as the rail system works to rebound from pandemic-prompted low ridership, top executives said.
If the rail system succeeds, it will represent the busiest-ever year of operation and almost triple the 12.2 million riders that used the network during 2021.
