Amtrak Upgrades Win Money as Buttigieg Looks to Move ‘Quickly’

The Biden administration is awarding billions of dollars to key infrastructure projects across the country — including Amtrak — as the department races to get money out the door before President-elect Donald Trump takes office.

“We’re going to continue announcing support for good projects just as quickly as we can,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg told reporters in a press call.
