Anthropic PBC has formed a federal political action committee that will permit the artificial intelligence company to make campaign contributions to Washington lawmakers and preferred House and Senate candidates in the November midterm elections.
The new PAC, called AnthroPAC, filed a statement of organization Friday with the Federal Election Commission. It will donate to candidates from both parties and be funded by voluntary employee contributions, capped at $5,000 per person per year under federal law.
