Imminent lapses in aviation security inspections, airport improvements and air traffic controller training are escalating industry concerns as lawmakers run up against a double-whammy of FAA legislative deadlines.
Lawmakers have until the end of Saturday to avert both a broad government shutdown and avoid a lapse in expiring Federal Aviation Administration authorities.
