BGOV Bill Analysis: Clinton Contempt Resolutions

Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would be held in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee about convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, under a pair of as-yet unnumbered House resolutions.

The resolutions would direct the House speaker to take all appropriate action to enforce the subpoena, including by forwarding the Clintons’ cases to the US attorney for the District of Columbia for possible criminal prosecution.
