Biden Says He Wouldn’t Commute Hunter Biden’s Sentence

President Biden, when asked by reporters if he would commute a sentence of his son, Hunter Biden, after his conviction on gun charges, says “no.”

  • Biden reiterated during a news conference in Italy that he would abide by the jury’s verdict; he has already said he would not pardon his son
  • NOTE: The White House declined to say earlier if Biden would consider commuting the sentence of his son
