Bipartisan Duo Lead Talks on Obamacare, Health Reform Policies

Republican Rep. Jen Kiggans (Va.) and Democrat Josh Gottheimer (N.J.) are working with House lawmakers from both parties to build consensus around a one- or two-year extension of Obamacare premium subsidies, while considering other health care reforms, according to two sources familiar with discussions.

Kiggans and Gottheimer met with lawmakers late Thursday where they discussed an extension of enhanced Affordable Care Act premium tax credits — set to expire this year — with an income limit, according to a House Republican aide who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
