Bipartisan Senate Bill Seeks to Set US Government AI Use Rules

Democrat Gary Peters and Republican Thom Tillis introduce legislation to establish guardrails to ensure the federal government can safely purchase and use artificial intelligence, according to a statement.

• The measure requires agencies to assess and address the risks of their AI uses prior to buying and deploying the technology
