Blair Distances Himself From Trump’s $1 Billion Peace Board Fee

Tony Blair, the former UK prime minister who’s been appointed to the executive panel of Donald Trump’s Board of Peace, distanced himself from the president’s demand that countries pay $1 billion for permanent membership.

Blair declined to endorse the request for the funds, which is part of a draft charter for the nascent organization, in a further sign that the details of the peace board are provoking opposition from US allies and partners over Trump’s project.
