Boeing Overhauls Lobbying Team as CEO Heads to Capitol Hill

Boeing Co. slashed its lobbying operations in Washington last year amid cost-cutting, labor unrest and safety concerns. Now with Boeing’s CEO set to testify Wednesday on Capitol Hill, a rebuilt influence team faces its first public congressional test.

CEO Kelly Ortberg will appear before the Senate Commerce Committee, where in his first appearance as Boeing’s leader he will field questions about safety issues that have plagued the company.
