California Emissions Reporting Backers Release Model Regulations

Supporters of California’s emissions disclosure law have countered Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) proposal for a two-year reporting delay with their own plan for regulators to implement the requirements on time.

Model regulations drafted by the advocacy group Carbon Accountable specify which companies would be covered by the reporting requirements and what exactly they would have to disclose.
