Chinese negotiators showed an openness to making additional purchases of US agricultural products — including poultry, beef and non-soybean row crops — during the first day of bilateral trade talks in Paris, Reuters reported.
The meetings led by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng on Sunday were “candid and constructive,” the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.
