Chinese Drone Threats Need to Be Made Public, Panel Leaders Urge

Key House Republicans are calling on the Biden administration to declassify information on the national security risks posed by popular China-made drones.

The leaders of the Homeland Security and Energy and Commerce committees say they want the American public, Congress and law enforcement agencies using this technology to understand fully the threats of these China-manufactured drones. Da Jiang Innovations (DJI) and Autel Robotics — companies headquartered in Shenzhen — control about 90% of the global drone market, they say.
