Colorado lawmakers have introduced legislation that would loosen the state’s first-in-the-nation restrictions preventing discrimination in the use of artificial intelligence in employment, finance, housing, and other sectors.
Gov. Jared Polis (D) demanded the legislature overhaul the 2024 law after signing the measure last May. Lawmakers have until May 7 this year to consider potential changes. A Polis spokesperson didn’t immediately commente on the new measure.
