Critical Mineral Diplomacy Bill Advances in House Committee

A sweeping bipartisan bill meant to strengthen the critical mineral supply chain in the US through new diplomatic partnerships and federal offices passed a House committee.

The House Foreign Affairs Committee Wednesday passed in a 45-0 vote an updated version of H.R. 7037, also known as the DOMINANCE Act, sponsored by Rep. Young Kim (R-Calif.). The bill aims to help the US compete with China’s critical mineral supply chain to improve national security and energy technologies.
