CSX Railroad Signs Trump-Linked Lobbyist as Mega Merger Looms

CSX Corp. has signed a lobbying firm with links to President Donald Trump as rivals push a merger and railway safety legislation hangs in the balance in Congress.

Continental Strategy began April 1 providing “lobbying services and general consulting” to the Florida-based freight giant on issues related to “rail transportation and real estate,” according to a federal lobbying registration filed April 29.
