Cuba Says It Poses No Threat as Rubio Warns of Foreign Influence

Cuba’s top diplomat accused Washington of trying to manufacture a pretext for toppling the government in Havana after US senators failed to limit Donald Trump’s ability to use military force against the island.

Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez said Wednesday that it was “absurd” for the US to claim the communist-run country just south of Florida could “pose a threat to the world’s greatest military.”
